Like other fellows I am also in deep love with Bikaner .... but yaar its time to streamline all our resources and effort to build a apex industrial city in the heart of Marubhumi ... I think we have all the ingredients to nurture this city as one of fastest developing city in western India in terms of Tourism, food and beverages industries, Cotton industry and one of the leading city in terms of education .... We need really good leaders like sardar vallbh bhaai patel to revamp the whole scenario .... God bless us ... Bikaner Zindabaad :-)

If we talk about Bikaner it has got 2 sides, Well being native of Bikaner i like the city and itz tranquality but what i wish to change is the mentality of some people in Bikaner. Some people are really dogmatic about their ideas and they do not welcome change. I am in Bangkok and i visited Biknaer after 2 years but i found no change, Same infrastructure which was never structured. If on global scale you talk about India and people say There are lot of opportunites in India, Corporate sector is developing huge but do we really see any development in Bikaner,,, "Literaly NO". So when can we develop Opportunities in Bikaner????....Today Bikaner is rich in education structure we have got medical college, Engineering college etc. but still people relate Bikaner with "BHUJIA AND RASGULLA" Industry. I hope there are so many other things which can be done professionaly apart from Bhujia. Lets say Tourism, Biknaer has huge potential, We are 1 among desert triangle city but i don't se e any implimentation for tourism. Cities like Jaisamer,pushkar and Jodhpur you can see free individual travelers but in Biknaer it is very less to be seen. We ony see group travelers. It means still Bikaner is not known to International tourist. Well there are lot of concerns and appriciations for Biknaer. And i hope that if we keep appriciations aside as good feedback and start working on a CHANGE then we can be able to come on World's Map very soon. Best Of Luck To OUR MOTHERLLAND BIKANER.

I have visited almost all the places in rajasthan but still bikaner remains my favourite. I know udaipur , jaisalmer and jaipur are more pouplar but i am mad fan of bikaner. I am planning to visit bikaner again in near future.

I think bikaner needs much more progress, because there is not any traffic signals in a city. There is not proper cleaning in city. Road is spoiled by the house hold garbage. There is no action taking by the muncipal corporation of bikaner. In the front of the sri ramgate too much of garbage is spoiled but there is also progressing the city like the construction of new road's and fly over.

Bikaner is my favourite city, not because from i am Bikaneri, it's because people from this city are very loving. Sharing their happiness with each others & always helping in critical situations as well. I am missing my friends, my childhood and my college days. We need to do something because we are far behind from Jaipur & Jodhpur in tourism. I would like to mention here certainly there is some porblem that's why sister cities are now top in Indian tourism and our city is not doing so good in recent years. Friends please do something, we have to do something together for develop toursim in Bikaner i am always with you. I think that Railway Crossing is a huge problem of Bikaner. To solve this problem i give a suggetion here. A fly over bridge shoud made at opp. street of mohata dharmshala for this work kotgate thana`s land also shout be takeover and kotegate thana shift at gaurd`s building, Opp. of Old Jail, Jail Road. The Fly over up this side and it is down to near of railway IInd gate entry. If fly over is make here i think 60% solve railway crossing problem.

Bikaner is my native place. It's a very nice city which i've ever seen.I have lived at so many places in India like Kota. Jaipur, Delhi ,Bangalore... but i like Bikaner and it's people very much. First thing we have to remember is that "Every person will go in a different field but don't forget your culture, your country (bkn has given u) because it will give you a separate image in the world." Bikaner is well connected to all parts of the country through rail & road. I spent 19 years in Bikaner. So I have a good knowledge of Bikaner. Bikaneri (Bikaner's people) like to eat healthy food. There are lot's of historical places. With increasing population, literacy and accompanied economic reforms, the way of life is changing and people besides other things are in search of quality and courteous education facility. The fast changing income brackets of the population have made them aware that sophisticated and advanced technology as well as skilled professional services are costlier, hence not available free of charges. Sursagar is a big problem of Bikaner. Road traffic is very poor. There is actual need of a good hospital, a honest & perfect leader.

Right now I am in USA but still I am talking with my friends in Bikaner all over. Well, for me its looks like same. I believe it is that peaceful as it was before, but they said there is no changes and guys I love my Bikaner and I am coming soon to see it. My family still lives there and like it much more then me even; they got the US visa and all but still they don't want to come because they love Bikaner.

I feel Bikaner is the best, may be it is backward if compared to big or metropolitan cities like Bombay or Delhi or modern countries like Japan and America but it is a wonderful city. It will become developed one day but with the help of people only. Its the citizen only who make their city poor or good. I wanted to say this much only and I think my most lovely 'bhujia' is nowhere else except Bikaner. So don't always take out the bad things but try to look at the positive points of Bikaner.

Hi All, Great show guys....Nice to see this site. Good to see names of my friends in the 'founder members' list. I am currently in Tokyo, but am following news from India (and Bikaner) very closely. I agree with one of the previous posting that Bikaner lacks infrastructure....especially a broad-gauge super-fast train to Delhi . Delhi is the nearest metro city for us. This can be the first step in development. Why not we all make this demand before the candidates , Dharmendra ji and the Congress candidate and make them promise for the same. Let this be a single point election, ask them a fast Train to Delhi. All Big cities in Rajasthan have it except for Bikaner, like Kota, Jodhpur, Udaipur etc. Why can't we too have one???? Thanks
