Character

Thou the poetry of humanity,
thou the most considered factor,
decides whom to praise,
whom to devastate.

What difference does it make,
to blame a person or to stake,
who wearing the wings of fancy,
assumes himself a paragon.

Thou the revelation of inner self,
thou a broken mirror within,
shows man in pieces,
forbidden perfection since ages.

Thou are the noble, o anonymous,
who saith, "every man has three characters,
one which he exhibits, one which he has,
and one which he thinks he has".

We cannot categorize a person in accordance with his character and qualities, because we are bound by our own inner strength and this is evident in our day to day life when we treat different people differently. This poem is a reflection of my inner self and various temperaments.
