I PRAY... !! |

| "Almighty
has created such a kaleidoscopic world for all his creatures, each one
granted its own peculiar beauty. Among them all, we humans are thought to
be the best. Partly because He has lent a fraction of Himself in us all.
Believing this very conception, this poem comes out as a vent for all pent
up feelings regarding the chaos all round. The chaos which starts from the
atom of our grey matter to the one that aims at destroying everything that
He made. After all is it not perfect peace that we all thrive for? This is just a tender wish of mine in form of words that there be the same garden on this earth, where even if Adam follies, even if Eve suffers... they are together. I wish there be no quarrels, no riots.. just total love, peace, faith, and brotherhood among all." YE LORD! WHAT WORLD YOU'VE MADE SOME SWIM IN WORLDLY JOYS, SOME SINK IN MOURNING SHADE SOME GET YOUR CHOICEST GIFTS, SOME JUST SUFFER THE HATE. GOOD GOD! WHAT LIFE YOU GIVE, MANY OF US BADLY STARVE AND LIVE. STILL THERE ARE MANY TO GET, COINS OF GOLD AND SILVER BED. YOU GIVE TO HALF A HEAVENLY LIFE TO OTHERS REST SHARP EDGES OF KNIFE. STILL ALMIGHTY, WE ACCEPT YOUR GAMBLING AND WORSHIP YOU TILL GRAVE COMES RAMBLING. BUT ONE LITTLE THING I PRAY TO THEE, WHATEVER SORT OF DIFFERENCE THERE BE, MY MASTER! ONE COMMON BOON TO ALL 'A HEART' THAT BE THE KINDEST CALLED AND IN THAT HEART A FEELING SO PRETTY, WITH THE DEPTH OF LOVE AND HUMANITY, I BOW TO THEE, AND PRAY TO THEE, O LORD! TEACH US ALL, PEACE AND FRATERNITY. |
